ProMax // Signal integrity
Your visit leaves digital signals. Here we explain clearly which information ProMax processes, why we do it, and which choices and rights you have.
In short
ProMax only collects information relevant to operating the website, understanding its use, registering plays and responding to enquiries. We do not sell personal data.

ProMax Site Signal
We use our own analytics system, ProMax Site Signal, to understand traffic, popular pages, approximate visitor countries and music plays. The purpose is to improve content, features, mobile experience and operation, and to compile the airplay charts shown on the website.
A first-party cookie containing a random visitor ID is stored for up to two years. A random session ID is stored in the browser's sessionStorage and normally disappears when the browser session ends. Language and certain player preferences may be stored locally in the browser until deleted by you.
For new visitors, the IP address may be sent to a geolocation service to identify an approximate area. The system may use ipapi.co, ipwho.is or ip-api.com. The raw IP address is not stored in the analytics database; a hash and the returned approximate geographic information are stored.
Google measurement is activated only if you accept optional cookies. Your choice is stored locally in the browser and can be changed through the Cookies button. The Webdesign demo also uses a necessary session cookie, promax_demo, to separate your demo changes from those of other visitors and protect the feature against misuse. It expires when the browser session ends; demo keywords are reset at least weekly.
Direct enquiries
When you write to ProMax, we use your information to read and respond to your enquiry, clarify a potential collaboration or fulfil an agreement. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a hidden spam field, timing control, link limits and rate limiting. Turnstile processes technical information to assess whether the submission comes from a human. The message is sent by email to transmission@promax.dk.
Depending on the enquiry, processing is carried out to take steps at your request prior to a contract, fulfil a contract, or pursue our legitimate interest in communicating and operating the business responsibly.
Connected systems
The website's hosting and email providers process technical information as part of secure operation and email delivery. Several pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When fonts load, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser data.
The website contains links to YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify and Apple Music. Some pages also contain YouTube videos. External players generally load only when you activate them. When you open an external link or start embedded content, that provider processes information under its own privacy policy and may use cookies or similar technologies.
If a provider processes information outside the EU/EEA, the transfer takes place on the provider's stated basis and with the safeguards described by that provider.
Lifecycle
We retain information for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as required by law. Enquiries are deleted or anonymised when no longer relevant, unless they form part of an ongoing collaboration, documentation or accounting records.
Analytics data is retained while relevant for long-term comparisons of traffic and music plays. The data is pseudonymised, access to the dashboard is protected, and the raw IP address is not stored in the analytics database. You may contact us and request deletion of data that can reasonably be linked to you.
Control over your data
Depending on the circumstances, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent with future effect.
To protect your information, we may request documentation that allows us to verify your identity. Some rights are not absolute and may be limited by law or the rights of others.

If you have questions about this policy or wish to exercise your rights, please write to transmission@promax.dk. Briefly describe what your enquiry concerns.
If you believe that processing of your information violates data protection rules, you may lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency. We encourage you to contact us first so we have an opportunity to investigate.
This policy may be updated when the website's features, providers or processing activities change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
